Hard, Smart, Together. The foundation of Hortonville Lady Hoops Basketball is built upon this, which expresses more than just our style of play. We believe that basketball should do more for its members than simply teach the game. We want our ladies to realize that the attitude they take in dealing with challenges is what is most important, and in life there are no setbacks, only different avenues to success. Our High School basketball program always prioritizes the team, never one individual, and is centered by a coaching staff committed to developing players into becoming future leaders on and off the court.

Thank you to all our family and fans and to the community for buying the most presale tickets of any Division 2 state-bound school - defending our win last season! The WIAA presented the school with a check for $2,000 before the 2018 state semi-final game.
The 2017-18 season came to close at the WIAA Girls State Basketball Tournament after a back-to-back appearance in the state's semi-finals. The #4 seeded Polar Bears lost to #1 seeded and eventual Division 2 champions Beaver Dam. Overall record on a great season was 20-7.
Hortonville finished the regular season #3 in the Fox Valley Association Conference with a 14-4 record (16-6 overall). The Lady Polar Bears had two of the top 10 scorers in the FVA: Shay Frederick (#4) averaging 16 points per game, and Macy McGlone (#8) averaging 13 points per game. McGlone lead the Conference in rebounds with 9 per game and Frederick sits at the top spot for assists with 4.8 per game.
Besides dominating the scoring categories in the FVA, Frederick officially became the all-time leading scorer at Hortonville High School with 1365 points (and counting). Congratulations to Shay on this amazing accomplishment!
Thank you to all our family, fans and the Hortonville community for cheering us on this season. We wish our 2018 seniors class of Shay, Lexi and Mady the best of luck in the future and are looking forward to next year.
Lady Hoops senior Shay Frederick signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 college basketball at Valparaiso University. She will join the women's program as a freshman for the 2018-2019 season. Last season, she helped lead Hortonville to the WIAA State Tournament and was voted first team all-conference and all-state team. The Crusaders are lucky to have you!
